Default Mad Rat Shocks

Anyone got any ideas what shocks will fit the Mad Rat. not looking at getting anything expensive. have looked at the FTX vantage alu shocks, but not sure if they would be too long or not. looking for something that will fit without too much hassle (hopefully none)

if you've got pics of the shocks on the Mad Rat please pose them so i can see how the fit.

cheers.

There was 2 sets of losi xxx shocks in the for sale section, these will fit nicely, you will howver need the plastic shock bushings...

Or if you can splash some cash the ansmann big bores are very good!

Hope that helps! Tom

I've just changed my son's associated shocks for Ansmann ones as he's an Ansmann team driver, I was happy with how the associated ones worked.

These could be for sale for the right price.

Here's a photo of his Monkey with them on.

75mm Front, 90mm rear... from center to center of ball joint.

Oh and the Master Smacker fit, they are under £10 for all four and are actually pretty decent, I have them on my spare rat...

Direct fit basically.. I used the lower ball cups from the original shocks and added a spacer on the top but that's it..easy fit.

I'd forgotten I'd updated them however I've put the fronts back on to show you

All original off my master smacker, just with the lower ball sockets of the madrat stock shocks. The springs are traxxas bandit.
