Default Better front A-Arms for Mad Rat or Macnum

Hi there,

As all of you know, Ansmann 2wd cars' weak spot is front A-Arms. They often break, even on uneven frontal landing... Can someone recommend some better solution for these A-Arms?

Are there any aluminium or pro-plastic ones. I know there might be hop-ups from TCmodels, but it is hell expensive shipping from TCmodels.net. Maybe some other model brand arms would fit? Maybe RPM ones for B4 or T4? Maybe something else? Please help.

Also I keep breaking rear hubs, but it seems that rear hubs from my Tamiya DF-03 will fit (then I would buy some YR alu hubs cheap from RCmart )

Thanks for input!

have you tried the front arms from the Xpro 2wd car? They should be the same moulding, but of better quality plastic. Or maybe the X2C wishbones?

Wouldnt say they're a weak part at all? Ive broken 1 in a year of racing the car...

Have you got the ally bulkhead or c hubs? Using these will make the wishbone the weaker part therefore breaking first...

No, the model (my mad rat) is all stock plastic and I broke two front arms in a month from two average crashes, nothing grand, jus common barrel rolls. Ok, ill try these X cars parts. Macnum should have even worse problems because of longer arms. Also both wishbones broke at the same place, near the inner (chassis) hinge pin. And in both cases popped that front shock.

Look into it first. I'm not sure that the xpro does have better plastic.
