any r/c clubs or bashers in leigh /wigan area

ive recently moved from newport southwales to leigh in wigan following the break up from my partner .

im looking for an r/cclub and or bashing club in leigh and surrounding areas

Well I'm in Abram, so I should be able to help.

On the clubs front, its not so good. I race at Bury Metro, which is a fair distance away, and there is also Southport and Ribble which are all just as far away. Until a few days ago there was Roundabout in Bolton, but thats shut now - it will no doubt reappear somewhere else, but the chances are it won't be nearby.

On the bashing front things are a lot better (if thats your sort of thing - its not really mine) as there is a group over on MSUK that meets at 3 Sisters on a regular basis. The area they bash on is a large, open dirt space with some reasonable jumps, but its quite heavily cut up and rutted so needs a 1/8th or larger really. I've run 1/10ths there and trucks are ok, but buggys really struggle.
