Default LRP SXX V2 question

I bought a LRP SXX TC V2 second hand and intend to use it in a 1s GT10 car. It may actually be a V1 that was upgraded with V2 software.

Does anybody know if it will work with 1s lipo without a booster for servo / rx? I know the V2 does but is this a hardware or software thing?

Does the case or heatsink say Version 2?

No it does not, so I think it is a V1 but it came from a LRP sponsored driver who says all his esc's were V2 or had V2 software - so not sure if the software upgrade is enough or if the hardware was different between V1 and V2. Just interested if it will work with 1s lipo.

Is it likely tp do any damage to the servo / rx if I try to use it with 1s lipo and it does not have the booster?

the original SXX has no version number on it and no software update capability

The V2 has "version 2" on the side of the speedo and is software updateably

HTH

yes it does work with 1s lipo as I ran the SXX original in my 12th with 1s lipos and no voltage regulator

download the instructions
