Default HELP, RC 2.4 bind issues

I have just got a 2nd hand futaba tx with a spektrum module and already bound receiver,.
module is the SM1001
I am trying to bind a micro SR3100 rec to it, following instructions but not happening....
the web manual says something ablout dsm2 etc, but not sure if thats why it wont bind?

HELP!!!!!

Your Futaba module has DSM and the new receiver DSM2 which are not compatible with each other.

decided thats the best option.... just ordered a "normal" micro receiver, damn this modern stufff, 22 years ago it was SOOOOOO simple.... rubbish, but simple lololol....
