it would help a lot if you would tell us what class of racing you plan to do (offroad - touring etc) and at what level (club level, regional, national).

Team Almighty EnerG 4600. Put together for you, (saves many an hour).
Used them first time in anger at the weekend, and all I can say is 10 out of 10. Loads of punch, runtime etc. Paul

As a newcomer, you'll not get into any nationals this year, so you have ne worries about batterys being legal. There are so many second hand bargains at the moment you can take your pick.
p.s. I think Jim76 meant are you racing 2WD or 4WD and you can get away with much less power in 2WD

For safety and long, long term legality, if you're not racing (BRCA meeting) before April then get cells off NEXT years cell list (on BRCA site) for defo!

It's on the electric board page under homologation lists.
But here you go: http://www.brca.org/BRCA/elecboard/n...st%202007P.pdf |
