Default Best Charger/Discharger

Hi All,

I am having some ongoing cell issues and am wondering if it may be down to how I charge or what I use.

My present kit is:

Orion Advantage Charger
Novak Smart Tray SE Discharger

I charge at 4A, discharge at 10A and sometimes use the "hold voltage" on the smart tray, sometimes not.

If I am not using the cells I tend to discharge/equalize once a week then charge back up to 1500mah (I store at 1500 mah).

Am I doing anything wrong here, or are there better charging/discharging/equalizing options, because I am having a nightmare time with cells!

Oh, and I use IB4200 cells, mainly Orion!

Dave

Hi Griff, Those cells I got from you are way way better than my own, not sure if the smart tray kills them a bit, or maybe I should use the Pulsar I got from you more, I've always thought the Orion charger was meant to be good though!

Glad to hear the cells are good, Orion charger is supposed to be good too but i have no experience with it myself. Your welcome to try my DPD if you like at Kiddy?
