What Ghea pistons do I need for my B44.1 ?

Hi All,
Well my wife and kids have got me a B44.1 for xmas .....I need to get the car built and ready for the Area 51 GP in a few weeks time..............BUT my wife won't let me have it until xmas day........So I need to get as much ready as I can. What Ghea pistion will I need also where can I get them from Do I need them

Lastly, any set up help would be great I have the chassis ballast kit and will be running mini pins yellow ( controlled tyres for the meeting)
Most people say the B44.1 is race ready out of the box, but if I need to get any other parts I need to get them for when the biuld starts on boxing day LOL

So, boy's and Girl's what's the hot set up

You can use ghea associated 2's in the front and 1's in the rear, if you search ghea pistons p-dub racing in ireland does them and think thats where most people get them.

One of our drivers recently got a b44.1 and all he did was put 40g of rudebitz weights between the lipos and that was it. It is ready out the box.

Yes, the B44.1 is pretty much ready to go out the box.

Just use Silver front springs and green rears (the ones that come in the kit )

Only mods for carpet would be the AE or Rudebits weight for between the cells:

And an extra roll bar for the front that helps on carpet.

I run a b44.1 indoor on carpet with basically the same set up as above,the car is great to drive for me, i run the rudebitz 92g centre weight,ghea no'2 rear pistons definately worth investing in
Definate silver front roll bar for carpet
I run on mini yellow mini pins, i just reduce negative rear camber as the pins wear..works for me.

The weight between the lipo's is 50/50 in my experience, it depends a lot on the surface. Indoors and in Finland at the worlds I hated having any weight there, whereas outdoors on astro I usually use the AE weight.

From what I've found having no weight makes the car very stable on corner entry, rotate slower in the middle and steer more on power. Adding weight does the opposite, the car wants to slide the rear a lot more on entry and mid corner, then understeer more on power.

Probably a dumb question, but are the GHEA Piston Numbers equal to the Kit Piston Nrs?

Yes,

They are the same as the stock AE pistons.

No. 1 ghea biggest hole and the no. 4 smallest.

Mick... What is the added advantage of using Ghea piston??

I am not so bright so Laymans terms would be appreciated
