Default X4 suspension problems

Hi, driven the X4TE for 3 meetings now and broken 6 inner hinge pins. They've all sheared at the exact same point. Twice was blatantly my fault with high speed impacts but to the cars credit only the pin has ever broken and not wishbones etc.
Worst one was today, BOTH pins snapped at the same time on a run up the launch ramp? Any new batches available/replaced parts?

I've seen one other x4 do this and never did work out why, I've only broke an outer hinge pin and that after a bit of a collision, think my m8 Rob might hjave an idea y if he pops up on here.

I,ve broken mine on a couple of occasions (both pins) but the wishbones stayed intact like yours but thats got to be a good thing, right?
Both times were head on collisions at Taplow..obviously the other persons fault

on my x4pro ive hade them brake reason being is that they have been over hardend, but to be honest its a cheep part and you can repolace them, i have been using some old wrench shafts, cut down as they are the same 3mm diameter and i have never had the problem sinse.

You have got your blocks on the right way up? The pins are supposed to come out of the rear block at an angle to match the kickup of the chassis. Also check the front one isn't bent because I have managed to bend mine (it did come down on the front corner from about 8 foot up though so something had to give )

If you can't find spares they are the same length as the madrat rear inner hinge pins.

Has to be said I think I broke more hinge pins on my X6 than I have on my x4te, or x4pro . Still haven't broken a wishbone on any of my A cars

Thanks for the ideas.

Checked the orientation of the kick up etc first time I broke one and it was okay. The 2 I broke which I know were my fault I couldn't believe it was only this part that broke the car is solid, but I'm dissappointed my run time is cut short when I'm trying to set up the car.

Just be careful with the front shock towers. I ripped the corner off mine in the same accident And the shocktower holders are prone to breaking if you land badly. Other than that they really are built like a tank
