basically it is as low as it can be shock collers up as far as they can go so no tension on the springs

Sorry, but I have a sneaking suspicion that you aren't using an accurate ride-height gauge and/or don't truly know how low 8mm actually is.....
![]() I've yet to grip-roll or traction roll mine, ever - and it suggests you're doing something really wrong. |

![]() ![]() What size track are you running on? The one we use is larger than a basketball court, so it's fairly large for indoors. |

very small and tight

Which would suggest there's no logical explanation for you to be grip/traction-rolling, other than a set-up that's totally wrong or overdriving the car.

Here is what I have found the sweet spot to be for these shocks for a mid motor 22 on high grip tracks. Indoor or outdoor.
I never need to do anything mor that a 2.5wt oil change Front 27.5wt losi oil Green front spring 3mm internal spacers 55 x 4 hole piston Mid tower Mid wishbone short camber link No spacers under link Axle height. Low 25 kick 5 castor Rear 27.5wt losi oil White spring No spacers 54 x 4 hole piston Outer on tower Inner on wishbone Use a 1e rear link with 3mm under outer ball Short wheelbase Use lrc block with toe in of your choice. I like 5 deg Max antisquat Ride height 18-20mm all round This car works better with a level chassis or nose slightly high Any qs just ask Hth

"TLR driver Darren Bloomfield kindly sent us a couple of his race winning setups, most recently his ...... TLR 22 base setup for indoor/outdoor having won with it on outdoor astroturf as well as indoor carpet tracks. Darren said the following of his TLR 22 setup, "This is why I'm finally releasing my TLR 22 setup, having proven it works indoors and outdoors, with the exact same set up. I advise people this is a place to start, maybe not 100% for every 22 user but definatly a good starting position, then just make your own changes to suit your own personal driving style, everyone drives different and not one set up works the same for any two people." I would guess your running it too low and when cornering hard your shocks are bottoming out, as you have no suspension travel left it's resulting in the grip role.
I would raise it up so the rear driveshafts are parrallel to the surface your car is on, and set the front so that the chassis is level. It could also be that yellow mini pins all round are giving you too much grip. Have you tried stagger ribs on the front, or trimming some of the spikes off? On carpet it wouldn't be un-heard of to remove at least one or two outer rows of pins from the tires. The only other option would be to try and reduce body roll through your camber links, shock pack and roll bars, but raising the car up is the place to start in my opinion.

So then went out today with 55 piston 27.5w oil and silver spring in the front
And 54 piston 22.5 oil and white spring in the rear car felt very good could drive the car much harder then befor but I think it could be a bit better over the bumps just need to get the shox to react to the bumps a bit faster |
