That one isn't a Blackfoot. It is a Bush Devil. Slightly later car but similar chassis and parts.

Whether or not it is cool is up to you!

However in terms of collectability/value it is not really of interest. Original Blackfoots are much more interesting but still not particularly valuable unless new-in-box.

Hey Garry,
The original blackfoot, mudblaster and monster beetle has red chassis and horizontal rear shocks on a cantilever. All 3 of these are the same except for the shell, but the monster beetle had oil shocks and gold wheels - very bling.

Newer generation Blackfoot was on a more sporty chassis (and I think was than named the Super Blackfoot), which became the generic chassis for Tamiya trucks - and the Monster beetle, Mudblaster, Lunchbox, Pumpkin were all ended around that time.

Id have another original Monster Beetle if they re-released it.

I always liked the Lunchbox, just because it was a van, but the chassis never seemed quite as good as the Monster beetle. Not that it really mattered when I was 10 and bashing.

The Axial looked nice and I almost went for one of those, but they were a bit pricey and the included shell looked naff to me (hate that sort of old american truck shape) - but the Tamiya looks ace. Will have to see if mrs.jimmy will let me have one

That's not a Super Blackfoot or Bush Devil, it's a King Blackfoot. It uses a similar rear end to the Super Blackfoot/Bush Devil but the only similarities are the chassis and gearbox. Unlike the older trucks that were around in the 80s the King Blackfoot didn't appear until 1997. The King Blackfoot has unique suspension parts, but as it's a much newer model a lot of the spares are still available from Tamiya so there's no problem with spares.
