Default mad monkey brushless

hi all basically i have a brushless mad monkey the 1 that comes with 2.4ghz and brushless set etc basically the revese is very limited and has almost no brakes i wondered if this is a set up issue of the esc but have no programing card or anything or manual for the esc. pls can some1 help any info will be great. are they supposed to come with a programing card? any1 else had a similar issue?

hi mate, yeh i got the same rtr just to see what it came with! mine is exactly the same, reverse is very inconsistent and the braking is a bit feverish! nothing to worry about though as it is a sensorless system so it will be a bit more jittery

So did it come with a program card mate? Also there must be some sort I set up for the esc or at least a manual?

haha yeh you would have thought so wouldnt you but no i didnt get anything as regards esc or motor, whats more worrying is that the black and yellow wires on mine seem to be wrongly matched! ie black in yellow and yellow in black!? but hey ho, it runs, very well as i proved today at ledbury, quite happily keeps up with 22s and cougars!

ah ok thank you some how i need to get more braking force tho as i have nothing most of the time but yea as for as performance goes it seems very good. does any1 know what shocks work best on these for indoor caroet racing?

run it stock on schumi mini pins front and rear

Just like to point out edd you never kept up with the 22 cos it broke so early in the day (owner was scared he was gona get owned by the monkey crew) and you were miles off dave and nathan. But ur car totaly stock dose seem to work well

haha, well it was a close as good enough until he crashes brand new dBoots have finally arrived on a tuesday? must be the new saturday to royal mail!
