The car: 2wd, sturdily built, not bad fun, what is it? It's missing the cover over the pinion which will get eaten by grit if I can't get another!
The shocker: I got 3 with a Tamiya Baja King and I'd like to know what it is so I can get the 4th. (The car has raised shock towers) Shocker is 90mm long Cheers, Joolstacho |

Looks like a tamiya hi cap damper. You won't be able to get a third easily. But selling the three you have would give you enough to buy a nice set of modern tamiya shocks i should think.

Umm, I know 1000% what's its not. It's NOT a TT-01. In fact I'm not convinced its a Tamiya at all. But then again I have a big blank spot in Tamiya history from 1986 through to 2003 when I was away from R/C.

Looks like something from the Avante/Egress era (first time round...)

The chassis is a Kyosho Pureten EP Mantis. It's supposed to be a touring car, most well known for being used as the base for Kyoshos Nostalgia series where the quality of the bodyshells way surpassed the quality of the chassis. Made around mid to late 90s.
The shock is a Tamiya High Cap Damper, used on the Egress and Top Force Evolution.
