Default 1258 fit issue

Hi. Fitted a new 1258 in my b44. But when fitted the linkage arm rather than being "flat" is at an angle, "pointing" fwd towards the front of the car if you see what i mean. Should the arm be flat or doesnt it matter?

Also, is it better to have the arm as paralell as possible i.e. Using the hole on the servo horn closest to the bottom?

Sorry if this doesnt make sense!

As long as it's not reaching an angle that could potentially pop off I wouldn't worry about it. I try and get mine as flat as possible with washers, etc on the arm, but no issue of it popping off on mine.

Ideally you want to get the arm as square as possible to make the steering linear and equal both sides, use the spacers to move the servo forward.
The kit servo horn only has one hole in it? But as long as you get enough travel from your lower hole to get full lock then there is no reason why you can’t use it.
