Default Another ZX5-SP newbie

Hi Guys
Been lurking for a while and with all the reviews gone and got myself a ZX5-SP. I race touring cars at the mo and used to race off-road years ago.
Anyway back to the topic i have also got a 5.5 brushless to go in.What pinion would you recomend with stock spur.i have some yokomo ceramic diff balls to go in insted of stock ones.
Any other build tips??

Thanks in advance for the replys

Simon

As for the gearing you will be wanting something in the region of a 19 tooth pinion on a 5.5 (assuming sintered)

In addition to the diff balls you'll probably be changing the turnbuckles to Ti ones, nothing else is essential however I would get hold of some original ZX5 king pin ball studs as I find that I use that position exclusively now.

Buy your self some silver springs too, front and rear ..... actually you'll be needing 2 sets of silvers as you'll be cutting one set!!!

Let me know what sort of surfaces you'll be running on and I'll give you a set-up .... actually never far off my base set-up these days!!
