pred xrs steering

Just wondering as the xrs is ment to run saddle ni-cads up front. I wanna convert it to run lipos down the side so i hqve to change the steering round to get to steering input on the same side as the motor. But looking at the machining of the parts with counter sinks and machined shoulders its not possable. Can any shed some light on this.

There are new steering bits with different ackerman, they are totally awesome, I would invest in them and you'll have the correct steering arms instantly.
