Default RB Fire 11, 7 port engine problems!

Just bought a RB Fire 11, 7 port engine and having problems. To start with the flywheel seems incredibly stiff to the point it just locks up even with plug out. when it does eventually start it sounds rough as hell runs for 20secs max even with tickover up slightly then suddenly stops with a crack. Is this a problem or just a persevering running in issue? Any help would be great, cheers.

I love this forum but you'll get a larger response on the Max Bashing forum in the specific engine section.

Do you have an RC Sure Start ? http://www.rcsurestart.co.uk/ It will pre heat the engine for you which should help this problem, aside that I don't know what it is and you need to speak to someone who knows what they're talking about a lot more than I do.
