Default Schumacher EXTRA STRONG belts

Schumacher have introduced new 'Extra Strong' belts for their touring cars and CAT SX3 buggy.

These belts offer greater life than standard kit belts with a slight drop in efficiency.

More effective when using gear diffs or running on high grip surfaces such as Astro.

U3924 - Bando Extra Strong Rear Belt - Mi3/Mi4
U3935 - Bando Extra Strong Mid Belt - CAT SX3
U3936 - Bando Extra Strong Front Belt - CAT SX3

Default How?

Am I right in thinking Schumacher use Gates Belts as standard? Gates Power Transmissions power ratings are the highest in the belting industry. The belts normally used, if I'm right, are the Powergrip GT which are Kevlar reinforced rather than glass fibre. Also due to the tooth profile they are very free running.

Looking at this Schumacher have changed to Bando? Now I must confess to not having looked at the Bando figures for a while but last time I did they were somewhere near 30% down on Gates? I do a lot of Drive design and normally look at Gates, Goodyear, Contitech or Optibelt.

Perhaps Schumacher could share some of the drive design data to back up these claims?
