Default Building a wall of death

Hi,

I'm looking to build a wall of death for my indoor track to go flat against a wall. Has anyone built one before and have you any advise to share.

Thanks

Matt

Indoors, to pack away it will have to be light enough, but still strong enough if you need to stand on it (why would you), hardboard bent on a simple timber frame, easy to repair & change.

Hi Matty,
If you remind me on wednesday I'll give you details of the one Chris H built for leighton Buzzard and sure we could sort something out.

at our club they just lean boards up against a wall and blend it in with smaller boards and carpet and hey presto

Just stand big sheets of ply (we use 6mm on is side for a short one, or 18mm on it's end for a tall one) up against a wall...then use hardboard to smooth the entry and exit...simples

Gaffa the boards to the floor...and wall if your able...plenty solid enough

Biggest thing I've found with wall rides is making them long/big enough for the cars to be on them for long enough to make it fun to drive, and a worthwhile feature.

I've put vids on your other track ideas thread!
