Default Shock caps

Bit of a long shot but does any one know if the alloy shock caps from the dnx410 will fit the big bores from the electric cars ?

I wouldn't do that even if it fits. If you crash hard you could damage the shock body instead of just the cheap plastic cap.
Just a reminder

I have to disagree a little there , why would the 1/8th have them as surely they crash and land harder , losi have alloy tops on the 22, AE also have an option of the alloy tops too im sure they are others

The reason I ask is on Sunday my car broke I could see it was on the back end, standing on the rostrum thinking what it could be I had a sudden thought it could have been the shock cap, which I didn't have a spare at the time so could have been game over ! It ended up being the shock tower , I have spare of them so wasn't a problem .

Just for piece of mind really .

+1 , I have only ever stripped one in nearly 2 yrs of running , as i say it would just be piece of mind to eliminate a very slim chance of having a problem.

The DNX408 shocks are bigger than the big bore shocks for the DEX410 buggies. The shock parts from the DNX408 would not fit the DEX410 big bore shocks.
