Default Novak 4.5R

can someone tell me?
i have just purchased a second hand 4.5 R novak which has a bonded rotor in it.
i thought since they came out all these have had sintered rotor in them ??
can someone in the know reply please .

The early ribbed ones didn't.

Actually all ribbed cans should be sintered! The earlier 'flat' cans were mainly bonded (I think a 4.5 was available), though there was some late ones with sintered rotors.

it is a ribbed can so i guess the rotor has been swapped then ??
