Default Losi and Schuey 4wd spindles...

Anybody ever try matching up the Losi XX4/XXX4 spindles to Schumachers? Anybody know someone with a Schumacher SX2/SX3 where they can maybe compare the two? The look VERY simlar in design and size and look much beefier.

I've not tried it, but someone said that CAT SX front arms fit the XX4, so maybe other bits do as well.

CAT SX/2/3 front castor blocks fit the XX4 and XXX4 - even the alloy ones in 7.5 and 12.5 degree.
The front wishbones do fit the XX4 but it takes a bit of work to mount the shock bottom into the wishbone.

Cool. Will it work with the Losi shoulder screws or do you need to pick up the Schuey ones?

You'll need the schumacher screws for the aluminium castor blocks, but you might get away with the losi items if fitting the plastic 10 degree blocks.

The Schumacher #U3316 castor blocks showed up today. They are an EXACT match! Even have the nub ground off like Robbers did! They are much beefier all around! Pic below. Only thing I'm going to do is use a TLR 22 ball stud/rod end instead of reg, Losi balls stud /rod end as the hole is designed for metric. You can even use the same shoulder screw pins on all four corners. No more fragile castor blocks!
