Default ball cups, 410r

Any one had any issues with them, used my rango for the 1st time the weekend gone, and the steering ball cups just would stay on,

Ended up borrowing some hd versions to get me through the day. He advised that I upgrade to the hd or change to losi or rpm with new balls

Appreciate any feed back,

slop may appear over time then, as for popping off easy make sure they are lined up correcty if that makes sense

Yes and yes,

I won't be putting up with them long enough for them to go sloppy.

Still hoping for more feedback

I suspect that all production of various parts is going into the soon to be released new kits.

I've used the same standard ones on my full fat since 2009 and I have had them pop off a couple of times but only when I've hit something pretty hard.

There is a fair bit of play in them now but the car has had a fair bit of track time so I'm not that surprised really. I will be getting the HD ones when I get a v3 but for me they aren't an absolute must have.

been having a look about, and it looks like people are having different experiences with the non hd cups.

even RC Lazy fella's use the words pop-offable.. great words...when describing the non hd cups. and this vid was added early august..

Default HD ball joints

I have raced my 410 about 6 times now and haven`t had a ball joint pop yet ?
I got a set last week from MB just in case but will only use them if needed.

I think if you can get them to stay on they are ok, but once they start popping off that's it, pop offable indeed. You need to be careful when adjusting any links in case one does pop off and agrevate the issue. Also keeping the ball cups in line also helps.
But the slop just seems to be too bad for my liking.
hoping now that TD get restocked pretty soon.
