Default TRF 501X Shock Caps

Hi there i just messed up one of my 501x original plastic shock caps, does anybody know if the AE blue alu factory caps will fit my trf501x? I have a xtra set around some place. Why is there a bleeder hole on the side of the original caps when they cant be bleed?

Cheers
Dennis

Don't know for certain but I'd doubt that AE ones would fit as the fittings are all US imperial, Tamiya's are metric. Its a constant pain the the arse as those of us that run both have to carry twice the amount of allen and nut drivers.

That's odd, seem like you have to drill a small hole to get them to bleed.
I rather just leave 'em as is though after a while they will start to leak..

Have a read of the 501X review on oople and it shows how you use the top caps. The bleed hole is optional - you activate it by drilling from inside where the small 'dot' is and cap it off on the outside with the provided small cap head screws.
You can bleed the shocks either that way or the 'normal' way - I have three sets of 501X shocks and only one is drilled so usually I bleed them normal stylee.
