Default Mounting PT advice

I know this is a simple answer but I wanted advice on the best place to place in a rango running aluminium chassis and aluminium sides as ive heard of a few issues with PT placement and the PT not functioning fully with all the alloy around.

would you recommend higher up such as ontop of the lipos?

or will low down be ok near the chassis?

Ive just replaced my amb pt with a more compact mrt pt as in jimmys 410 review.

Where ever you can get it.... Ali chassis is fine.... The mrt won't miss a beat
Fits quite nicely under the steering link
Hth oh and try to keep it away from the receiver

I've got my Harry on the chassis, right under the front diff input shaft bearing. Goes right in there up front!

Edit... This is probably not the best place if you normally come over the loop either on your roof, or backwards :-)

I have got my met pt stuck to the front of the low profile servo, it's 90 degrees from the angle it should be but it works fine.
