SOLD X6 Squared

Due to buying a house I'm having to cut down my RC equipment and my X6 squared buggy has to go. I bought it second hand approx March this year. It had been a conversion kit from a team B4 buggy and had been run at only a handful of indoor meetings. Since I got it I’ve added,

AE Factory team front axles
AE Servo Mounts
AE Aluminium front pin brace
AE Factory Team Shock bushings
Changed the shocks to threaded shocks and rebuilt them with a new rebuild kit using AE green slime etc.
Rebuilt the diff with RC LAZY ceramic diff and thrust balls. Sanded the diff plates flat as well.
Fitted the Blue motor mount.
Quick change battery kit.
Custom made brass plate and behind servo weights. Not as pretty as the pro ones but exactly the right weight as used by Ellis Stafford in the standard setup.
DMS front carbon fibre shock tower and cream stainless steel mounts.
Titanium turnbuckles and RPM ballcups.
Longer X-factory rear axles and I rebuilt the CV joints with a new kit last week as one of the pins kept coming out.
AE B44 rear hubs.
New front and rear hub bearings.
AE V2 slipper clutch
Anti roll bar kit.


There is also a spares bundle that includes front shock towers, front wishbones, selection of hubs, steering blocks, motor mount, original non threaded shocks, spur gears, V1 slipper, a complete diff with standard balls, driveshafts, shock rebuild kit, anti roll bar kit, rear toe in blocks and loads of spare screws shims and washers. You’ll need to look in the picture for the full amount of spares.


The car is in very good condition but there are some small things I would make any buyer aware of. The shell has no cracks on it but has a couple of small areas where the paint has rubbed off against the battery strap. The rear wing has a very slight crack in it. The underside of the car has some scratches on it from running outdoors. There is a small amount of damage to one of the rear wishbones from the drive pin coming loose in the driveshaft, obviously doesn’t affect the wishbones performance. There is a set of green rear minipins and home made yellow front stagger ribs on the car. Plenty of life left in them both.
