Question How best to polish?

Well I've stripped down my 2 original Ultima's and am now left with the chassis's, shock towers and motor plates......umm....now what? How do I get them looking like new?

Dremel?

All tips welcome!

Dan

Hi Dan!

I'm using sandpaper with a waterproof backing, known as Wet and dry. P400, P800 and P1200 is a good combo. Works for me

Haha! Yes sir, but I have not yet encountered too deep scratches

Note that it doesn't work on anodized parts like chassis for the Turbo Optima Mid because then the anodizing is lost

The key is to be patience and handle every part like it's a diamond

Good point!

And Glycerol on the tires to soften them up and protect them from cracks. It is colorless and odorless.
