ESC cutting out - anyone recommend a repair service?
Hi guys,
My Xcelorin ESC has worked perfectly since I bought it about 3 years ago. I'm running the latest software with an Xcelorin 6.5T motor, LiPos and 2.4Ghz and it's all set up correctly (I've been racing for 19 years!). Recently it's started cutting out intermittently for about 2 seconds and then picking up again. When it cuts out I still get power to the steering servo, just not the motor. I've changed the sensor wire and motor but the same thing happens. I've put in my spare Xcelorin with exactly the same set-up and it works fine. So I think that there's something wrong with the ESC itself. Does anyone know of a good ESC repair service other than Horizon Hobbies themselves? Cheers.
