Default Will Stadium Truck class come back in UK??

Just to discuss really..............

I know a few of us race them at EPR, Losi XXX-T's, me Brookie and Charles, they are ace and EPR all bundle them in with the SC trucks.

Any other clubs in the UK run them??

I remember back in the day the ST truck class had its own championship, with a Mr Helmke rather handy at it.

With the new 22T coming out will we see a come back to this class??

I love driving my one, more the merrier I say!

I hope so; Stadium Trucks weak point was batteries - no problem these days!

I used to love racing my XXT, especially on Astro tracks

Maybe it'll make a bit of a come back, they are really nice to drive, just like a big lazy 2wd buggy really.

Maybe they could have a class at the Sc nationals? Who knows!.............

I for one like them and best of all Schumahcer tyres that work on our uk tracks, Yellow mini pins, staggers etc, all good!

The ST truck race at the Petit (Maritime) was great to watch

Talking stadium trucks

I agree with Mark on this one, it would be brilliant to see a revival of the class, the new losi, the t4.1, the xfactory x60, the hyper 10 TT, there are loads to go at. Hopefully the 22t will spur people on a bit

Let's not forget that they are mad for the format in mini scale so fingers crossed

I suspect the appearance of 4wd SC trucks might muddy things up a little.

The rising popularity of 2wd SCT's nearly helped reboot the ST class - most places lump them together, and there is no doubt that on most UK style courses a T4.1 is quicker than an SC10. And that is before we get to the aforementioned Schumacher tyres, which are so good its almost like cheating!

A few weeks back, our truck class was being dominated by ST's - my RC10T, a Firestorm and a T4, which were kicking SC10's and Blitzes all round the track. People were talking about getting ST's to enter the truck class as they were better racers. Then we got a TEN-SCTE and an SC10 4x4 racing and they stomp over everything....

The problem is that the truck class isn't popular enough to split. We have maybe a dozen regulars that race in trucks, 2-3 4wd SCT's. 4 ST's and the rest 2wd SCT's, and they normally finish races in that order....

There should be a heat or two of stadium trucks at the SC national series, I'm always up for giving the T4 a run

Pretty sure we could squeeze a heat in at Coventry round on Sunday if there was enough interest...You'll be racing on Dirt though

There's quite a few that run at West bridgford club nights. Think we're up to 6/7 now. Would be great to get a heat of them in the Mid-East Regionals .

Ludlow club has enough to make a heat of them, but we have a similar number of 2wd buggies and 4wd buggies so we mix the heats so you don't just race the same 4 guys for 4 times a night

Southport club runs a 5 meeting summer series for Stadium trucks and has done for the past few years, T4's & X60's

We also had a heat of 6 Stadium trucks each day, running at 2 day display event we do at a local show. Plus we normally have a truck heat at our Easter Egg event.

Video of our truck series here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GANMzIsYvYM
