Preparation of Batley Track - URGENT

WE NEED HELP ON SUNDAY 9 MARCH 2008

EVEN IF THE WEATHER IS POOR – MAINTENANCE WILL HAVE TO TAKE PLACE!!

Please meet at 11 am – bring jet washers, brushes or anything you think may help!

Do you want to race outdoors at the Batley track on Sunday 16 March 2008?

If the answer is YES then we need your HELP to clear out the container and prepare the track ready for outdoor racing. The container has yet again been subject to flooding but with many hands we can soon get it sorted.

With jet washers, brushes etc many hands make light work. We also need to put an additional piece of wood on the rostrum.

Have a Sunday away from racing elsewhere and support the Club by giving your assistance this Sunday so that we can start outdoor racing next Sunday.

A new calendar will be published on the website as soon as the track is ready – we are prepared to organise plenty of Sunday Club racing this year providing we get the assistance necessary.

The census appears to be that National events will be too full to accommodate all lower formulae drivers this year so we are thinking of running a Club series using some of the National dates if we get enough drivers attending meetings.

PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR ONLY OUTDOOR CLUB IN THIS AREA

I'll be there on Sunday, not got a jet washer or anything though.

That is okay Dan - Waiting to hear from Spen Pool that we are okay for hose for water etc and I know of at least 3 that are bringing jet washers.
