Updated Championship Tables were emailed out to all participating clubs for publication following on from last weeks meeting at Plough Raceway. Unfortunately can't see any on-line as yet, I know EPR's web Manager has been on holiday and is still catching up!

In my absence am trying to make arrangements for hard copies to be made available on the day!

DC - 3rd in 4WD may be a little ambitious, your 3rd at present behind Poulter and Johnson so, obviously, any performance by drivers that have only competed in two rounds may affect this position.....good luck!
Stuart - you are currently 4th overall in 4WD, but same conditions as DC would apply!

Whilst I'm here a couple of things about tomorrow!
First off, there are EXTENSIVE road works in Hawksbrook Lane (the lane leading to the sports club) and though there is still access to the club using this lane, the diversions have made the approach a little 'interesting' to say the least, so please be careful and approach with caution!

Can I also remind drivers to bring any End of Season entry forms and entry fees with them tomorrow and hand them in at Race Control, a nominated individual will be collecting them! Next weekends FORCC 'Help for Heroes' charity event will be the last opportunity that I will have to accept these entries in person but PLEASE DO NOT leave it until the 11th hour!

And lastly, track preparation today and the running of the meeting tomorrow will have been completed by a much smaller EPR team than usual (due to other commitments!) so a) please be grateful of ALL their efforts and b) please be gentle with them tomorrow! And if anybody wants to help out then please feel free to get stuck in!

I may not be there but I have ways and means, be good ALL of you!

You'll be pleased to know an EPR regional was successfully run in your absence Steve! (and it's true, he has eyes and ears everywhere!)

Hats off to Brookie Jr for his stalwart effort as Race Director - the first of many I'm sure. He can shout for marshalls just like his old man

Also thanks for the patience and professionalism of the drivers in heat 4 round 3 when our AMB loop went down due to a heavy downpour. Oh, and thanks to Jon Peters on the phone who got BBK running again for us after the system reboot. Hidden menus eh? you learn something new every day!

All,

Can I please ask that all End of Season chat and questions be confined to the on-going thread that's been around for a while, here:

http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=71461

All the details and criteria can be accessed by clicking on the link to the BRCA site!

Though in summary anybody interested in racing at the End of Season Finals should get there completed form/s and race fees off to me well in time for the relevant closing date/s.
Hopefully everybody will get a place but should the event be over subscribed we may be asked, as has happened in recent years, for numbers to be reduced, we would, in this instance have to take this years Regional Championship standings into consideration!

Now can we please leave this thread for club chat or at worse high praise for those individuals that managed the meeting through interesting circumstances!
I was being kept informed of proceedings throughout the day and have had a debriefing! Hope you all had a good day other than our new 4WD Regional Champion.....eh Mr.Poulter?

i liked Jay's quote on winning the second leg of the B when DC interviewed him.

DC "Jay, how was it to win the race?"
JH "It was nice to beat Poulter"
