Novak Motor Issue

Hi all

I have novak 6.5 Light that had been sat in my pit box for about a year. It came with some other bits and i was told it had hardly been used. Today i plumbed it into a car to see what it was like and it's not right. It doesn't seem to rotate freely. I have checked the bearings and they are fine, but it seems to drag. It also gets warm quickly as well. (just held in my hand not running the car transmission) Has a sintered rota and that looks fine too. Any other ideas?
