Because it is a bj4, and then there is the cost of a conversion kit on top.

Its like the X5 and X6, they always go for more than a b4 or xxx

Anouther factor could be that these cars arent exactly popular like youre average car, for example the components arent mass produced on a large scale 24/7 unlike the Associated and Losi gear and other brands as larger quantities make them cheaper.

the quality of the carbon and thickness must add to the price also becasue the chassie is a good 3mm thick ?

all in all they seem really cool to drive im well pleased with mine, i sure alot of people who have driven these cars must have to say good things about them, ive never heard a bad thing yet ? correct me if im wrong ?

The S4 like with any car that is produced in limited numbers is more expensive to produce than any mass produced car & a Carbon tub chassis is much more expensive to produce than a flat carbon plate chassis! So thats why it costs more.

The S4 is an amazing car & the build quality is first class. Ive had one a few months now & so far its by far the best, most consistent car ive every driven.
I think you might see alot more Atomic Carbon cars around this year with the S2 & S44 due to be released!
