Default Racing Sportwerks Recoils In the U.K

Just a quick topic to see who caters for these fab new touring cars.

To those that dont know anything about these cars....

Have a quick read here.

http://www.sportwerksrc.com/Products...ProdID=SWK1450

And iv found this vid just to show how quick the little blighters can be lol.

What attracted me to them is the price. Less than £90 with all radio gear, esc motor and battery with charger brand new. I bought mine second hand for £60 and just updated with a brushless setup for £48 new lol.

I just need to find somewhere that races these in the northwest and i reckon these are gonna take off big time.

Do any other oople members have one?? I know they cater for them "dawn south", but anything "oop north" as they say

Col.

There are quite a few of them racing at Poynton Model Car Club and a couple of them at Stockport Model Car Club. I expect the Poynton lot will be heading to the new Macctrack when they get the new track up and running as they all came from the Phoenix Raceway.

A couple of the Recoils with brushless setups go down the straight faster than the 1/12ths, but even with the ESC settings at minimum they are still a handful around the corners. They manage about 3/4 the laps a tourer manages without much work and the fastest ones aren't the ones with the fastest brushless in, which means it's down to the drivers not the size of the wallet. Talking of money, how about a set of CVDs for £10, a full set of wishbones for £5.

We cater for them www.marstonmcc.co.uk

Last Week Si Willetts beat the FTD with hi recoil

Mark Palmer 28/ 241.68 Lipo and 19 turn I think
Simon Willetts 29/ 245.99 1400mah and XLR8 modified

This week I should be quicker as I have diffs that work in my recoil, good fun and cheap.

I guess were quite far from you, but if you check out the site you can see the videos from the last big meet indoors, we had 13 recoils, there is another one due soon.
