Do you use a bit of wet and dry on the pads, what about slipper hubs themselves ??

doesn't mean it needs doing every meeting but i at least check them,
if they need doing ill sand the alloy parts with 600-800 wet an dry,and ruff up the plates buy scraping with the flat part of a Stanley blade

Depends how loose you run it, the looser it is the quicker ull glaze the pads and discs. I run mine fairly tight so i tend to check it every few meetings. If i was doing nationals still i would be checking it before every meeting.
