Default Which Monkey spares should I buy from the off?

I'm about to order a Mad Monkey for my son and wondered what spare parts are worth ordering at the same time?

I'm planning on him using the motor that comes with it for a while. Is the standard pinion up to the job or will it need replacing soon (the kit pinions on my old Optima were soft alloy and wore out quite quickly).

I've read that the diff screw isn't that great and should be replaced and I'm going to get ball races from the start.

Anything else I need to think about?

Cheers.

I have found that the pinion it quite good and the diff screw on some kits may need a little dremalling after its been setup..

spares:

rear shock tower
front lower nose cone
front upper deck
caster blocks - if used with longer ball studs & nuts will last longer
rear hubs - if used with longer ball studs & nuts will last longer

hope this helps

Found mine quite stong out of the box tbh. Only really been bashing it around for a week but its stood up ok. I've ball raced mine with an RC Bearings kit (£10) and imo the shocks are pretty junk but other than that it appears pretty tough
