Depends what you want, handling wise. The FS1 is a bit more locked in at the back going in to a corner and breaks out a bit unpredictably. The FS2 seems to be consistantly loose all the time which for me is much better. Do the steering mod' and they both are good cars.

FS2 is more consistent in terms of how it deals with grip changes and how it rotates through corners. I'd certainly not describe it as loose though, still more rear end side bite than any other current 4wd I've driven just a little less locked in than the FS.

Both are great cars, now I have got used to it I personally prefer the FS2 as it is a little more agile.

how often does a manufacturer update a car (not release a brand new one) and the previous car is still perfered???

of course the fs2 is the better car

One of the beautiful things about Kyosho is that the many combinations of parts can give you a car that almost could do anything you wanted handling wise (if you understand what they all do of course) but if you just want to build a kit stock car up you will always end up with a well balanced and quick chassis.

I know some people, mainly those who like a heavily locked in rear end, who still prefer the FS over the FS2. I personally prefered the RB5 with the "worlds" rear end to the SP (many of the USA team drivers including Tebo also use the 'narrow pivot' RB5 as their starting setup).

There are few manufactures out there that listen to the drivers (not just the team but all the feedback they get) and make sure there is something for everybody!

Kyosho drivers are always willing to help to so finding the setup that suits YOU is fairly quick and easy

Thanks for the feed back, I have just bought Budfish's FS2.
Anyone fancy my FS1?
