Default Mad Monkey xcelorin ESC

Guys please help

My excelorin is not working properly, it keeps hesistating using when you come off the sticks and power back on. I have tried another Losi Brushless motor, fitted a brand new sensor wire, checked all the connections and also tried another receiver and it's still playing up. The only thing I have not replaced it the capacitor.

P.S I have also updated the firmware and reloaded onto the esc.

Not sure what to do now, either than change the capacitor or send it to Horizon for repair.

Cheers in advance

Stevie G..

It sounds like it could be the cap I'd try a new one and if that dosent work then send it back to horizon.

Thanks Whiskers

I tried it tonight with the battery setting on Nimh even when I was using Lipo, the stuttering was not so severe and when I programmed the ESC to the lowest setting the hesistation is at it least.

So now I am thinking must be the capacitor, hopefully it arrives soon.

Does anyone know if there is any UK stock as it ordered one through Wheel Spin, it has taken two weeks already and they still cannot tell me when I am likely to get it.
