Default Track for first 2wd RCCAOI round

All,

Several people have asked me about the track design for the first 2wd national round on June 5th.

Comments received about the current track suggest that it is too fast, and the bad sections of the surface are making it "hit and miss" regarding having an accident that wasn't driver error.

So, what I plan to do is retain the overall layout of the existing track, but tighten it up a bit - this will mean that you will have to come off full throttle for some of the corners and maybe even have to use the brakes shock horror!!!

A slower track is beneficial for everyone!
Faster drivers won't lap slower drivers as much - meaning less traffic to deal with.
Slower/Novice drivers will be able to concentrate on their racing lines rather than keeping a flat-out car between the hoses.
Tighter technical sections will improve everyones skill level as less power is required and the focus turns to steering the car correctly.

I'd hope to have the slightly modified track in use on Sunday.

Will

Don't worry, it won't be a "new" design - just tightened up a little
