Default B44.1 Build Tips

I'm due to collect my new B44.1 this week after deciding to return back to the 1/10th scale after many years ago.
I would like to know if anyone has got any hints or tips when building this car and what sort of gearing (pinion) should I start off with with a SP V3.0 6.5T?
Does this kit use Metric or Imperial fixings?

Just follow the manual mate. I shimmed my gearboxes one shim tighter all round too.
Go for a 21t pinion and see how you get on. All imperial fixings.
Get the ballast weight for it too, makes a huge difference to handling

ENJOY!!!

I would agree with griff comments....
Get some weight in there with the lipos, and run a 21 pinion with the stock spur. The only other thing I can recommend is to get the ghea pistons for the rear shocks (I ran No.1 Ghea on Sunday, and the car was really planted).

Hope this helps.
Mark

If you want my setup from sunday, just ask.

Cheers
Mark.

I have the ghea pistons in rear too great things. You will need to order an extra bag of diff shims to get the bevel gear mesh right, there won't be enough in the kit as said above.
