Default Maclaren award for...

Maclaren you need an award for the most unessasary pit stops ever
On jensons strategies they always pit him one more time than the rest of the leading pack.
Rubbish !

Seems to happen in every race!
Which is odd cause jenson is famous for being good on tyres. (smoothstyle)

totally agree, lewis caused the crash with Petrov, you see lewis slow down so much then Petrov had no where else to go!

boooooo to lewis, and wel done button for the 10,000 lap lead for Maclaren

Lewis Hamilton launched a furious attack on stewards after twice being penalised for incidents during his race to sixth place in Monaco.
"It's an absolute frickin' joke," he said. "I've been to see the stewards five times out of six this season."
Asked why that was the case, he replied apparently in jest: "Maybe it's because I'm black. That's what Ali G says."
McLaren driver Hamilton later visited stewards to explain his comments and will not be charged with disrepute.

Yep it was Lewis's fault but I think he slowed right down cos of the damaged car that cut accross the chicane???

Isn't it your fault if you go into the back of someone? Therefore Algiwatsit caused if by driving in the back of Lewis.......

The penalties for lewis (the massa one) and di resta I think were unnecessary as no cars were actually taken out of the race, just racers trying to pass other racers and the door is shut! And it was their cars that actually got damaged.
Did Schuey get penalised for running into the back of Hamilton, damaging hamiltons car? Nope.

But the final one for lewis i think was necessary as it ended maldanado's race. But Maldo could see lewis was attacking him as he was blocking him down the straight. So why he shut the door so heavily I don't know. When hamilton passed schuey there earlier in the race, schuey knew he was going to pass so gave him space rather than take them both out of the race. The mentality of some of the younger racers needs to be questioned if anything.

But I think the stewards were a bit harsh.
They even reprimanded Kobayashi for passing Suttil?! Whats that all about? are they not allowed to pass anymore?

Rediculous!

I have only seen the Massa incident, and it was a clumsy and impossible move without contact, Massa's crash in the tunnel right after was Massa's own doing, poor corner exit followed by Hamiltons use of KERS, Massa should of backed out of the throttle once out on the marbles.

Jenson maybe twinkle toes, but these tyres don't work on abuse levels, they have a finite mileage and then they are done.

McLaren's decision to pit Jenson was because he was about to get caught up in traffic and after his pit-stop he was in clean air, so could therefore increase his (relative) lead. If he hadn't been so unlucky with the safety car and the race being stopped for a while, he'd have probably got past Alonso and Vettel, whose tyres were about to die.

Not sure it's very fair to let people work on the cars while the race is stopped like that tho, Vettel and Alonso got a free pitstop effectively. Ruined the race for us spectators.

Hamilton was just pissed off that Shumi did that to him on the hairpin in the first lap, so tried to do it himself.

webber went into the back of trulli? in the lotus last year sending him down the track on his head and into a wall and that was put down to the lotus braking much earlier than the red bull.

so much carnage during the petrov crash to know who's where lol.

Lewis's car did take a beating without having to go in to replace wings, etc though
