Hi guys,
Some advice needed... I've heard of an awful lot of people running the 25 degree kick up using the flat shim and the 5 degree caster blocks - most of which have said that it works great and gives a much better 'feel' to the car. My question relates to bump steer for this set up: with the standard 10 degree outer caster blocks and the 20 degree kick up (angled shim) we ran no spacers under the outer steering ball stud to eliminate bump steer... ... and with the 10 degree outer caster blocks and the 25 degree kick up (flat shim) we had to insert a 2mm spacer under the outer steering ball stud to eliminate bump steer. (I think I've got that the right way round ![]() What spacer do I need to use to eliminate bump steer running 25/5 set up??? Much appreciated Jon! |
