Default X4 gearing with brushless?

Hi

I have a standard x4 pro and am looking to upgrade the motor to a losi 6.5t brushless. Will the gearbox be ok or will it need some upgraded parts? I guess a 21 or 22 pinion would be ok too?

The gearbox will be fine, just make sure you shim diffs up nice and tight and have the slipper set to slip slightly on take off.

I run a 5.5 in mine geared 21-85

This will be fine I run a 7.5 with boost. They have released a new rear gearbox mount (pic attatched) I have one coming it should help manage the power of the big motors
