i was wondering if these are any good as was going to upgrade to brushless but needed some advice

Although i've never owned one, i've been led to believe they're OK.
Many mixed reviews most of which are generally good. If the car it's going in is quite heavy you'd be better opting for the 60A version. Also bear in mind that the motors ending in .5 are beefier than those like 9t, etc. The 9t is a 380 motor in a large enclosure, whereas the .5 motors are genuine 540 size. What is it going in by the way?

I started out with a 35a - 9t version, liked them so much bought two of them at the time.
Easily programmable with the programme card and on the whole were very good esc combo's for the money. Speed was good and actually never had any problems with them whatsoever. And if you were looking to run 3s throught it, then all you'll need to do is upgrade the fan ![]() Like Damselfly says though, it depends what cars this going into and where you're planning to use it, as either the 60a or the 35a-9t could be better depending on use

For a mad rat it'll be fine, I ran it in a b4 and even my slash......not sure what you mean by free up tho?
