Hi folks,

Im looking at getting a desk light for racing. Any ideas? Whats the one that loads of the TC drivers use? Is it any good?

Hope that helps?

The OTT-Lite is in my opinion, OTT, Over The Top! Especially the price...

Seems to be a fashion item these days... like a lot of things in Touring Cars (don't get me wrong, I'm a TC racer...)

I use a cheap £5 telescopic desk lamp thingy, it's done the job for years, and you can move it into place to really see your diff balls.

Im an ex-TC racer, and a pit-glitter whore. I love the whole skinning, colour coding idea. The OTT-Lite is the shnizzle as far as pit-glitter goes

The best thing about the OTT lamp is its bulb replicates daylight, which helps in the evenings when your eyesight ain't as good as it used to be

I got a cheap and cheerful 'Focus' version of the OTT light. £7. Works like a dream on my desk at home. Folds flat.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but i actually sell these in my shop for a very reasonable price. I didn't realise they were used as pit lamps as i use them as colour comparison lamps. However i have sourced them for less than the UK rrp. If your interested drop me a line on my work email
