Default Stripped Head on front Axle

Hi All,

My lovely son tried to help change my tyres the other day and he stripped the hex head on the front axle screw (holds the wheel on).

Baring a complete new corner, any suggestions how to get it off?

Neil

Use a Dremel with a cutting disc to put a slot down the screw, then use a standard screwdriver

So, the screw is damaged?
The screwdriver is slipping?
Maybe You can dremel a little slot and turn it out with a flat screwdriver.
I replaced the screw with a bigger one.
