does anyone know the colour ratings with losi tyre maininly the truck 1/10 step pin, I think the red is a softer compound for wet conditions but not sure on the silver?

Yes red compound is softer than the silvers. It's not esp. designed to handle wet conditions. Red is just the newer of the 2 compounds and was meant for low grip dirt conditions. But since there are no real wet tires for trucks, its worth a shot.
