Default Brass LRC and HRC pivots

I'm not happy with the TLR weight kit that bolts onto the back of the gearbox - It's far too polar for my liking.

Is anyone making brass pivots and shim kits? It would be the best option for adding low c of g, low polar moment weight.

Just a quick note to let you know this is now being priced up properly. I'm hoping to have a price and availability before the BH weekend.

Will let you all know asap.

Russ.

If you are going to be producing these then the front wishbone mount would be the most beneficial as the weight would be infront of the axle. Rear of the axle can make the rear feel like a pendulum.

Hmmm, i disagree.. for me i'd like more weight hanging out the back to try and improve the traction.

Having more weight over the back will give better traction like a rear motor car, but still maintain the handling and jumping handling of a mid motor car... sounds like the best of both worlds to me!

Just my opinion

Can't you just make all parts for the car out of brass, then we can add and subract what works and what doesn't?

The 22 definately Requires Weight on the RearEnd when its in Mid-Motor Configuration, as it just feels too Light & you can see the Rear Bobbing around on Bumpy Tracks!

I think that the TLR Brass Weight Kit is'nt a cure, but certainly helps this + Rear Traction!

As some of you have already mentioned, it being Mounted right on the Rear & reasonably highup, it really is'nt the ideal place as it can give abit of a Pendulum effect! Specially if more Brass was added there!
If Weight is Added, it really needs to be as low as possible & as close to the Diff area as it can be! The Chassis itself would be the best place.......or the next best thing, the Pivot Blocks/Shims!

Sounds like a good idea to me!!

WACKER 1, pshhh... think I'm gonna knock you off top spot this year and take the WACKER 1 title!!!

I think the brass blocks would be good but wouldn't weigh enough... I've added 109g hanging out the back of mine using some old lead plate but even that only gives me about 66% weight over the rear wheels.

We'll see how mine goes at the weekend!

Dean... you racing at Coventry this weekend... is it saturday or sunday???

I'm racing at Broxtowe easter weekender with Gibbo and camping over from Sunday to Monday.

Should be a reeeet good testing session!
