Default Rear Wishbones, anyone noticed....

....that there are differences between the 502/511 rear wishbone and the 201 rear wishbone, despite having the same part number!?

The 201 has a cutout to stop the outdrive fouling when compressed, the 592 doesn't! And my spares of 54142 rear wishbone appear to randomly have them sometimes and other times not!!

Anyway, I guess other than a random post, little word to the wise on the 201, buy the new DN01 rear wishbones as spares instead, and these will fit the 502/511 too!

I spent ages last night working out the problem I thought my 2wd had before I noticed that!

Never realized that. Another curiosity: The X-parts, damper parts are different on the TRF502X than on the other X- parts you can buy. The damper retainer holds the springs better than the other retainers do.

51282 X Parts. I believe they're standard on all tamiya trf offroad kits now, but the older ones that came with my 511 years ago did not have the "lip" to hold the spring better.

Exactly, the part number is the same. That´s why i mentioned it because it´s the same with what Dave found out. The same part number on the wishbones too.
