Default You have done them all now there is only one left how long till we see the ansmann!

Common lewis you know it's gotta be time ansmann can bring some very high quality shocks and diffs to the car and also all the Ali bling (hubs ect) carbon towers they are no longer a cheep brand. All in agreement post here.

Id like to see one, and if you think how cheap it would be if you used a madrat... Winner! Although saying that the X2C is awesome!

A bit silly but I'd like to see a 22 conversion, think the Vega has a better weight balance and like the rugged parts of the 22.

Not alloy, but the atomic carbon tardis 22 could be what you want.

I cant see a vega version of the ansmann being commercially viable. After all if you want to midmotor one there is already a conversion available! And for less than vega would have to charge.

WTF..... the whole idea of the Ansmann, is that they are cheap, and, erm, mid motor anyhows, kinda defeats the whole object of the car slapping an expensive, errrr, mid motor conversion on a mid motor car....

What about the people who want a vega but cant afford £200 for a car then £200 for a conversion? An ansmann motor is surely more commercially viable than any other?

Commercially viable in terms of volume sold? I doubt it very much
The vega is converting rear motored cars to mid motor, why bother with a brand that already has a mid motor? Madmonkey for £50 and there you are plus loads of spares from your old ansmann.

then why do any of them there is fab's converstion for the rb5 and rodgers scorpion, the x6 for the B4, the CR2 for the losi and the AC 201GTO for the tamiya. the point is the vega chasiss makes the car allot more stable and safe and seems to allow even the more "normal" drivers to go allot quicker. To be honest it wouldnt take long on the rb5 chasiss to change it as allot of it is the same. Lewis i will do the cad changes for you if you like?

Carl, don't think you got Pete's point, you are running a cheap car (my kids got two) and I would not even contemplate spending lots on it, I would rather buy a used mid motor or a Losi 22 and be done with it. The Vega converts rear motor'd cars to mid, thats the whole point of it.

But if you wanted a mid motor x2 then they already make it. Is the weight distribution between that and the vega that different?

That makes more sense, but can't someone beef up those parts for less money than a conversion would cost (ok you have me with the antisquat part tho!)
